Of Chinese origin, pianist Jiacheng Xiong is a musician of “technical mastery” who performs with “grace and ease.” From Fujian, China, he has competed in the world’s top piano competitions, including the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Queen Elizabeth competition and was awarded the Commission Prize at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition. A winner of the 2024 Aspen Music Festival Piano Concerto Competition, he has toured nationally with “Curtis on Tour.” Xiong’s performances have been featured on NPR’s “From the Top” and captured for Curtis Studio’s centenary album. He has appeared as a soloist with the Des Moines Symphony and the Aspen Conducting Academy Orchestra in venues from Carnegie Hall to Cortot Hall in Paris. Xiong holds a diploma from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, a Bachelor’s degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, and a Master’s from The Juilliard School.

Xia Wu is a highly acclaimed cellist known for her performances at major international festivals including Lucerne, Dartington, Saito Kinen, Big Apple (New York), Beijing, and Shanghai MISA. She was an outstanding member of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra for over a decade and has also led her own string quartet, collaborating with renowned musicians worldwide. Since relocating to California in 2018, Xia Wu has performed with the Silicon Valley Symphony and California Pops Orchestra. She is also a dedicated educator, with students going on to prestigious institutions like Juilliard and the Royal Academy of Music. In the summer of 2025, Xia Wu performed with the United Nations Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. Additionally, she served as Associate Principal Cello for the New York International Symphony Orchestra & UN Symphony Orchestra at the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations at Lincoln Center, hosted by CMG.

Yeshuang Ella Chen holds a Professional Studies Diploma and master’s degree from the Mannes School of Music. Currently, she actively participates in the Paulus Hook Music Foundation’s Chamber Music Program. Performance highlights include serving as principal second violin for the Mannes Orchestra and assistant concertmaster for the Shanghai University Chamber Orchestra. She has also collaborated with the Martha Graham Dance Company and performed with violinist Ryu Goto. She won first prize in both the Hong Kong Open International String Competition (Shanghai Division) and the Third Los Angeles International Youth Music Competition (Zhejiang Division). In the summer of 2025, she performed with the United Nations Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. Most recently, she appeared as Associate Concertmaster with the New York International Symphony Orchestra & UN Symphony Orchestra at the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations at Lincoln Center, hosted by CMG.

Born into a musical family in China, Sherry Li began playing piano at four, achieving the highest national certification for nonprofessional pianists by age 12. At Peking University, she served as principal piano accompanist for choral performances. Beyond music, Li founded C-Star, a New York-based real estate investment and technology firm, and established the Wanyi Faith Foundation, a philanthropic organization. In 2024, she launched the global concert series Harmonics of Enterprise, debuting at Harvard Club in February 2025 with the Sound of Foundations charity concert for children worldwide, uniting over 100 global dealers, entrepreneurs, and HBS alumni. In October 2023, Li debuted at Carnegie Hall, co-founding Thousand Graceful Melodies (TGM), a cello and piano duet ensemble, with cellist Qianci Liu. TGM continued its journey with a performance at MIT in May 2024.

Pianist and instructor Jingyang Dong is an active and emerging figure in New York’s classical music scene and a signed artist with Concerts in Motion. A versatile performer in both solo and chamber music, she has built a reputation for her passionate performances and dedicated teaching. As an instructor, Ms. Dong’s guidance has led her students to remarkable success. Her pupils have consistently earned top honors, including first, second, and third prizes, in the New York division of prestigious international events such as the Artciál International Piano Competition and the San Francisco International Piano Competition over the past two years. A native of Hunan, China, Jingyang’s musical journey began at age eight. Her extraordinary talent was recognized early, earning her multiple awards, including the title of "City Art Hundred Artists", several gold medals in provincial competitions, and first prize in the "Three Solo" instrument category in Hunan Province. Jingyang Dong holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Mannes School of Music in New York City, where she studied with Ann Schien, a distinguished disciple of the legendary pianist Arthur Rubinstein. Fluent in English, Chinese and French.

A favorite with symphonies, concert associations and opera companies for her interpretation of works such as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Cosi fun Tutte, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Nanneta in Falstaff, and Michaela in Carmen. Dr. Wu received her undergraduate degree from Tung-Hai University in Taiwan, her Master of Music and Graduate Performance diploma from Peabody Conservatory of Music of Johns Hopkins University and her Doctor of Music from the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music of Catholic University of America. For the past 25 years she has traveled to many cities in the United States, Taiwan and China to give vocal seminars and master classes. Recognized by Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (2003) and recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award from St. John’s University (2008). In November 2015, Sino TV aired a one-hour live interview with Dr. Wu on her experience and challenges as a Chinese-American classical vocal performer and professor. She lives in Long Island, New York and has taught at St. John’s University as Music Professor since 2004.

Yi Ru is a classically grounded contemporary jazz musician holding dual bachelor's degrees from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (Percussion Performance major, Piano Performance minor) and Berklee College of Music (Jazz Vibraphone & Composition), followed by a Master's in Jazz Performance from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, New York. With two decades of transnational music education experience, she has shaped innovative programs as Contemporary Music Director of the New York Big Apple Music Festival, served as juror for prestigious competitions including the 2019 New York International Contemporary Music Competition, and has performed on global stages several times. Currently leading her Nassau County-based Yi Music Studio, she synthesizes Eastern technical rigor with Western improvisational artistry, mentoring students in piano, percussion, and music theory through her signature cross-cultural pedagogy. Her career bridges academic excellence, performance innovation, and classical music advocacy across two continents.

Cellist Qianci Liu serves as the director of Paulus Hook Music Foundation, Big Apple Music Festival and NYISO. She was principal cellist for The Lion King’s Shanghai tour in 2005. Her recordings include Walking on the Bund, A Cellist in Shaoxing Road, and Little Reunion. Original works include music for the animation “Lily, to Mom,” “Candy - Cello and Jazz Band,” and “Flowers of Peace.” She performed for the United Nations Chinese Book Club with UN Singers and China’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations. She has produced concerts for the 40th anniversary of China–US relations and benefits for young musicians and charities. In April 2024, she was the music director for the 15th UN Chinese Language Day Celebration, performing alongside Chinese pop star Zhou Shen. 2025: Producer and Artistic Director for the China Media Group (CMG) ‘United as One World Voices of Peace' Symphony Concert at Lincoln Center featuring global artists including Lang Lang and Randall Goosby with the New York International Symphony Orchestra.

大提琴家刘千慈现任 Paulus Hook 音乐基金会、纽约大苹果音乐节及纽约国际交响乐团（NYISO）艺术总监。2005年，她曾担任音乐剧《狮子王》上海巡演的大提琴首席。她的录音作品包括《外滩漫步》《绍兴路上的大提琴家》《等着我》《小团圆》。原创作品包括动画音乐《献给妈妈的百合花》；《糖果——大提琴与爵士乐队》及《Flowers of Peace》。她曾为联合国合唱团、联合国中国书会、中国常驻联合国代表团等机构演出。2019年曾制作中美建交40周年纪念音乐会，以及多场为青年音乐家及公益机构筹款的音乐会。2024年4月，她担任第十五届联合国中文日庆祝活动的音乐总监，并与中国歌手周深同台演出。2025年，担任中央广播电视总台举办的“同球共济 和平之声”交响音乐会制作人与艺术总监，邀请郎朗、Randall Goosby 等世界知名演奏家，携手纽约国际交响乐团献演于林肯中心。

Meng Wang, recognized for “injecting a fresh dimension to the sonic landscape” (I Care If You Listen) and for “mingling baroque-tinged phrases with amorphous cosmic rhythms while maintaining the distinction of each in a grippingly harmonious manner” (Schmopera). Wang’s work has been described as “always interested in something unpredictable” (New York Classical Review) and celebrated for its “innovative musical language combining Eastern and Western aesthetics” (Xinhua News Agency). Her compositions have been performed by leading orchestras and ensembles such as the Brussels Philharmonic, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Percussion Ensemble, and Aspen Contemporary Ensemble; and featured at major festivals including Aspen Music Festival, Cabrillo Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Shanghai International Arts Festival, MISA Shanghai Summer Festival, and Beijing Modern Music Festival. She currently teaches in the Precollege Divisions of both the Manhattan School of Music and Mannes School of Music at The New School. Her works are published by Donemus Publishing.
